How long is your data stored?

We process and store your Personal Data only to achieve the respective processing purpose or for as long as a legal retention period exists (in particular the UAE’s commercial and tax law for up to 5 years). Once the purpose has been achieved or the retention period has expired, the corresponding data is routinely deleted.

We also use Zoom (Zoom Video Communications, Inc.) to conduct online meetings, on-boarding measures and to provide our Chat services. When using Zoom various types of data are processed. The scope of the data depends on the information you provide before or during the online meeting. The processing bases are your consent as well as our legitimate interest.

 

Capturing audio and video during our lessons

Subject to your express consent, we record our Zoom sessions. When recording individual sessions, we will always give prior notice. Further, we will remind you of the recording before the start of the sessions. The legal basis for recording our sessions is both our legitimate interest and your consent. The recordings serve our quality assurance and professional development and safeguarding purposes. Our recordings are destroyed immediately after the purpose for which they were made has been achieved. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the recordings and have entered into a Processing Agreement with Zoom. According to Zoom’s Privacy Policy, recordings will not be used for any other purpose nor are those shared with any other Third Party. To opt out from being recorded/ withdraw your consent, please contact us.

 

Payment

The provision of payment details is subject to our payment processor PayPal and does currently not take place through our website. The legal basis for the data processing is the fulfillment of our contractual obligations and the fulfillment of our legal obligations.

We process data in the context of administrative tasks as well as organization of our operations, financial accounting and compliance with legal obligations, such as archiving.
